ERDB-JP (Electronic Resources Database-Japan) is a project by the National Institute of Informatics, Japan.
It is a searchable database of OA resources published in Japan. Now it has been expanded to include OA titles from publications or editorial boards based outside of Japan. "The registered data is created through the collaboration of universities, published and knowledge-base vendors, and is made available under CCO 1.0 Universal.”
The North American Coordinating Council on Japanese Library Resources (NCC) Cooperative Collection Development Working Group (CCDWG) collaborates with ERDB-JP by contributing the Open Access information to ERDB-JP to enhance the discoverability of Japanese academic resources.
As of October 8, the scope of contents in ERDB-JP is below:
- E-journals and e-books whose main language is Japanese; or
- E-journals and e-books whose editorial office or publisher is based in Japan; or
- E-journals and e-books related to Japanese studies NEW! added on October 8, 2024.
