AM: East Asian LibGuide

AM (previously named Adam Matthew) has published an East Asian LibGuide to AM databases exploring East Asian history, politics, and culture. It's a good place to navigate the AM East Asian collection. However, the links in the guide will not directly grant you the access UMN has subscribed to. You can either search the titles of each collection in the Libraries search or use the Proxy bookmarklet to reload the page.

The AM database contains primary sources on East Asian history, politics and culture cover a wealth of subject areas, from early trading relationships to twentieth-century music recordings. This content is almost entirely English language and comes from a variety of source archives around the world. It is often presented from a western, and specifically British point of view, particularly the Foreign Office Files collections of British government sources held by the National Archives, UK, which comprise the communications between London and its embassies and consulates in East Asia.
